“When the time came to apply to colleges there was no hesitation.  The first school I applied to was The University of Arizona because I wanted to make sure that I was guaranteed a spot at such a fine institution…an institution that has been a significant part of my life and of my family.

Tyler Ford Snyder will follow the footsteps of his father, aunt, and uncle who earned their bachelor degrees at The University.  As a Westview High School graduate, Tyler earned an impressive 3.8 Grade Point Average.  His athletic excellence is known throughout the school’s football and basketball programs.  While maintaining excellence within the classroom, Tyler has also been recognized as being The Most Inspirational Athlete by his teammates.  He additionally received recognition from the Palomar Football League as an Honored All-League Linebacker.  Tyler will enter the U of A as an undeclared major.  He states that he is “open minded and eager to learn and grow as a student.”  Tyler feels that working with children is a great strength and one that may lead him to a degree in Education.
